Skip/Compactors

Skip Compactors are usually placed at locations where bulky waste is generated in reasonably large volumes. The concept is that the generators of waste (eg. Supermarkets,Warehouses etc) simply place their waste into the easily accessable receprical at the end of the unit. The waste is then compressed into the main body of the unit, until it is full.

The advantages are: more compact waste, therefore less freight charges, waste in one neat unit, easily transportable in one secure container, stored in one container, rather then many easily tampered with smaller bins.
