Municipal waste has filled many tips at an alarming rate.  Waste Initatives is at the forefront of new projects that are being developed to help control this problem.

Reclaiming and recycling - sorting, separating, and shredding more valuable items for recycling.

Waste to energy - remaining items like paper, cardboard, plastics and other combustible materials that can be shred to give a homogeneous product to be fired in furnaces to produce electricity from steam driven turbines.
