Single Shaft Shredder

Type A: Low Speed (96rpm) high torque shredders

During the shredding process, the automatically controlled hydraulic ram pushes the material against the rotor.  The rotor is equipped with exchangable indexable inserts, which cut the material through the stationery blade.  The shredded material falls through the sizing screen regulating the granule sizes 15mm to 50mm.

Type B: High Speed (600rpm) knife mill

Gravity fed material passes between 3 or 5 rotor knives and 2 or 4 fixed bed knives.  Material is cut until it falls through an easily changeable sizing screen.  Screens typically regulate granule size between 3mm and 20mm diameter.

Type C: High Speed (900-2000rpm) hammer mill

Single rotor type, equipped with either fixed or swinging hammers. This system pulverises gravity fed materials in the cutting chamber, which then exit via a sizing screen.  Auxillary equipment required: Heavy duty sound enclosure, dust filters and fire extinguisher system for some products.
