Two Shaft Shredder

High torque, low speed, shear type shredders. These models feature two large shafts driven by electric motors direct or via a hydraulic motor through a heavy duty gearbox.  A series of single or multi hooked cutters grab the material to be shred, in a counter rotating action, shearing it between the cutters.  The width of the cutters determines the size of resulting particles, the number of hooks determine the length of the strip.  Fixed scraping fingers clean out material and stop it wrapping around the shafts.

A range of small, medium, large and very large models are available from 5 to 550hp (3kW-400kW).  Various configurations depending on your specific application, size of material to be shred, volume per hour and size of end particles required.
